Theology of the Gospel

Purpose and Intent

The purpose of this website is to provide a biblically sound explanation of the “Gospel.”

Today, one might be surprised to learn that inconsistencies exist in how the Gospel is defined and presented. A quick study of YouTube sermons will quickly verify this assertion. Therefore, a primary objective of this website is to present the original Gospel using Scripture. A plan for applying the information presented, often referred to by Christian leaders as systematic theology, is not offered. The objective is to define and present the Gospel biblically. This writer feels strongly that what many refer to today as the Gospel is incorrect, biblically inaccurate, incomplete, or not biblical enough.

A second goal was to create a resource to which disciples sharing the Gospel, perhaps in their workplace, might point someone for additional information and insights. As a doctoral candidate in biblical studies, the creator of this website is passionate about the Gospel and how best to share it in our everyday lives. The workplace, for example, is where we spend much of our lives; hence, the workplace graphics. God willing, this website will serve as a foundation for future projects addressing the challenges faced by those who desire to share the Gospel in secular work environments.

Anytime a site is visited, including this one, care should be taken to validate the information’s accuracy. As the creator of this site, I ask those visiting to study their Bible carefully and prayerfully, constantly verifying that the information presented is biblically accurate. If you have questions, take them to a pastor or other knowledgeable Christian. Please do this. It would be best if you always did this.

This website does not sell products or memberships or accept contributions. There is no contact form because there is absolutely no commercial intent. The sole purpose is to provide a biblically accurate resource for those seeking clarification and understanding of the biblical Gospel.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 19-20)
